What is a holographic trading card maker?+
It is an online tool that turns a photo or illustration into a digital collectible card. Holo Card Maker adds editable typography, original frames, interactive tilt and light-reactive foil. The effect is layered 2.5D artwork inside a 3D card, rather than a full 3D model of your subject.
Can I use my own photo or anime character?+
Yes. Upload a JPG, PNG or WebP image you own or have permission to use. Personalize the name, subtitle and message without regenerating the image. Transparent PNG artwork works especially well with the depth effect. Use original characters and authorized fan artwork.
Is the card maker free?+
The browser editor, original frames and PNG export are free during beta. AI artwork and automatic cutouts use a limited daily beta allowance when available. There is no subscription or checkout in this release, and you will not be charged.
Does it work on mobile?+
Yes. Drag the card with your finger to see the foil move, and tap Flip to view its back. Motion controls can be enabled on compatible devices. If WebGL is unavailable, the original artwork remains visible.
Can I download or share my trading card?+
Download a PNG, save an editable card project, or record a short turntable clip in a format supported by your browser. A published card gets an unlisted interactive link: anyone with the link can view it. PNG images are static; the live link preserves the interactive effect.
Do you print physical holographic cards?+
This studio creates digital cards. It does not print or ship physical foil cards. A PNG can be a starting point for a print design, but a printer will need its own bleed, color and foil-production specifications.
Are my uploads public?+
Local editing happens in your browser. Your image is sent to our storage and image-processing provider only when you request AI processing or choose to publish it. Published links are unlisted, not password-protected. Avoid uploading sensitive images.
Is this the official Holo Card Studio website?+
No. Holo Card Maker is an independent web product. Its rendering work builds on the MIT-licensed holo-card-studio project, with attribution and license notices preserved. Our original templates, editing experience and hosted service are developed separately.
